The Beginning
2001
In 2001, Jack Hinchman, Rick Hogue, and Steve Fries were operating the HORL brand using the NASCAR Heat simulation.
In mid 2001, that effort then moved the the Papyrus NASCAR 4 simulation, with the addition of Dave Postlethwait, testing a league w/ pickup racing on Saturday nights as the Saturday Night Thunder.
2003
With things in full swing, HORL made the easy switch to NR2003 and immediately offered Cup Series, Busch Series, and Craftsman Truck Series racing.
